Kanu Patel, MD
Dr. Kanu Patel opened his first practice in Otolaryngologist over 35 years ago in Prince George’s County. He is an expert in minimally-invasive surgeries for the sinuses, head and neck, and sleep apnea. Dr. Kanu Patel also specializes in rapid recovery tonsillectomy, as well as the treatment for sinus problems, vertigo, voice disorders, ear infections, insomnia, snoring, narcolepsy and choking.
Dr. Kanu Patel is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery as well as the American and International Colleges of Surgeons.
Dr. Kanu Patel completed his residency at the prestigious Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC before opening his private practice. As an otolaryngologist, Dr. Patel has the unique ability to tailor his care to meet each patient’s individual needs and help them recover quickly and safely. Kenneth Wong, MD
Dr. Kenneth Wong is a highly trained and educated Otolaryngologist who treats conditions in the head and neck region including but not limited to: sinuses, ears, throat, voice, thyroid, swallowing, hearing, balance, snoring, and sleep apnea. He treats both children and adults.
He completed his residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (New York, NY), the oldest hospital of its kind in the western Center and currently holds medical licenses in the states of Maryland and New York. He completed his general surgery internship at the Beth Israel Medical Dr. Wong graduated at the top of his class while earning a Doctorate of Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (Richmond, VA). He also graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University as an undergraduate.
Dr. Wong has first-authorship on several research publications and has won multiple awards during his residency for research and presentations. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Dr. Wong is fluent in English and Cantonese and enjoys traveling. Dr. Wong’s philosophy of care includes involving the patient in the evaluation and treatment process through education and open communication. Rodrigo Martinez, MD
Dr. Martinez is an Otolaryngologist who has a diverse clinical and educational background in Otolaryngology, plastic surgery and healthcare management consulting. He is currently board certified in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Martinez has earned awards while Chief Resident at the University Hospital Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY. He completed his fellowship at University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Martinez graduated with “Special Recognition in Medical Ethics and Humanities” while earning his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, FL. He was a Surgical Intern at University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, Charlottesville, VA. He graduated from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH with honors while earning a B.A. in Psychology as well as several awards and grants.
Dr. Martinez has contributed to several research publications and conference presentations. He is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys juggling, tennis, and swimming in his free time. His philosophy of care involves taking extra time to truly understand the nature of medical concerns through a patient-centered, contextual approach. Gerald Suh, MD
Dr. Gerald Suh is board certified in both the specialties of Otolaryngology as well as Sleep Medicine. He is highly trained in treating conditions affecting all aspects of the head and neck region and treats both children and adults. In regards to snoring and sleep apnea management, he offers an individualized treatment approach encompassing the full spectrum of available options including maximizing PAP utilization, custom-fit oral appliance therapy, positional therapy, and numerous surgical options tailored to patient anatomy and patient goals.
Dr. Suh received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his Otolaryngology (ENT) residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital as well as New York University, with training at Weill-Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Lenox Hill Hospitals. Dr. Suh He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-HNS as well as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He has been a long-standing member of the national AAO-HNS Sleep Committee, as well as a peer reviewer for the two main nationally recognized ENT journals. He is an active member of the International Surgical Sleep Society and has been a moderator at their annual meeting. He has also been first author of several peer-reviewed research publications.
Dr. Suh has been in practice for over 24 years and is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate ENT and sleep care to all his patients.
